Investors & Partnerships
We invest where feasibility meets national priority
A disciplined investment approach, long-term partnerships, and an open door for genuinely distinctive opportunities.
How we choose where to invest
Our investment decisions follow from where we can genuinely add value, rather than from where attention happens to be at a given moment. Before we move forward with an opportunity, we look for three things.
Alignment with national priorities. We favor sectors that sit within the Vision 2030 agenda, where market depth and a supportive regulatory environment give a venture room to grow.
A real contribution from the group. We look to bring something beyond capital — execution capability, an established relationship, or technical expertise within one of our subsidiaries.
Returns that hold under conservative assumptions. We test each opportunity against a reasonable downside case, not only an optimistic one, and look for returns that remain sound either way.
Where we look when we look for an opportunity
Renewable energy and efficiency
Generation projects and efficiency solutions with predictable cash flows and long-term contracts.
LNG and its supply chains
Assets and services within the gas value chain, driven by energy security and low-carbon transition.
Mining and minerals
Opportunities in exploration, processing and support services under the National Mining Strategy.
Construction and infrastructure
Execution and supply work tied to major national and development projects.
Technology and AI
Investments in solutions and start-ups that raise the efficiency of industrial assets and financial decision-making.
Financial and advisory services
Centres of expertise and platforms that serve investment decisions and widen the institutional client base.
Four structures we work through
We choose the structure according to the nature of the opportunity, the level of risk, and where each party genuinely adds value — not according to a standard template.
Strategic partnership
Long-term cooperation with a technical or commercial partner to develop a joint line of business in the Kingdom.
Joint venture
A shared entity with agreed capital and governance to deliver a project or enter a defined market.
Equity investment
Taking a stake in an existing company with a clear operational advantage that needs capital to grow.
Supply and delivery partnership
Bringing the partner into the supply chains or execution consortia of major projects.
From idea to close
We commit to responding to every serious proposal, and to explaining why we decline when there is no fit — because a partner’s time is part of the value of the partnership.

Questions clients ask before we start
Do you work on existing assets or only new projects?
The large majority of our work is on existing assets, where the return on improvement is faster and clearer than investment in a new asset.
How do you ensure recommendations are actually implementable?
By involving the operating team in the diagnosis from day one. A recommendation the operator does not own does not get implemented, however technically sound it is.
Do you comply with the client's own safety standards?
Yes, and we apply the stricter of the two: the client's standard or the group's, whichever is higher.
